Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Penlago (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Penlago ("we", "us", "our").

2. Eligibility and age

The Service is only for adults aged 18 or older. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18. If you are not, do not use the Service.

3. Informational use only

The Service provides an estimate of metabolic age ("MetaAge") based on a handful of inputs you enter. That estimate is:

• not a medical diagnosis;
• not a recommendation to take or stop taking any medication;
• not a substitute for laboratory testing, imaging, or clinical evaluation;
• not a guarantee or prediction of your actual lifespan, disease risk, or health outcome.

We may change the MetaAge formula, thresholds, or the way results are presented at any time. Historical results may read differently under a new formula. Do not rely on the specific number or messaging for any decision with medical consequences.

4. No doctor-patient relationship

Using Penlago does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and us. Nothing on the Service should be interpreted as a clinical consultation. You are solely responsible for how you interpret and act on what you see here.

5. Your inputs

You are responsible for the accuracy of the values you enter. We cannot verify your weight, blood pressure, or glucose readings, and we do not know whether your measurement technique, device, or timing reflects real values. Garbage in, garbage out.

By submitting the calculator, you confirm that the values you entered are your own, that you are not submitting them on behalf of another person, and that you understand the result is an estimate generated by a formula, not a medical reading.

6. Shareable graphics

We generate a shareable graphic for each result. The URL contains a random identifier; anyone with the URL can view the graphic. Do not share a URL with your numbers unless you're comfortable with the recipient(s) seeing those values. We cannot retract a graphic that has already been shared.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, enumerate, or bulk-download results, waitlist signups, or any other content;
• submit values for anyone other than yourself;
• use automated tools to submit the calculator or create fake signups;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service;
• use the Service to develop a competing product;
• interfere with the Service's security, rate limits, or infrastructure.

8. Intellectual property

All design, code, text, branding, formulas, and visual output of the Service are owned by us or our licensors. You may share your own result graphic for personal, non-commercial use, with the Penlago branding intact. All other rights are reserved.

9. "AS IS" — no warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

We do not warrant that the MetaAge formula is clinically validated, that results are accurate for any individual, or that the Service will be free of errors, bugs, or downtime.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Penlago and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any damages for lost profits, lost data, medical expenses, personal injury, or emotional distress, arising out of or related to your use of the service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Penlago and its operators from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — disclaimers, warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will survive.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. If a change is material, we will update the "Effective" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify waitlist members by email. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Thailand, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not waive that right.
